What Is Global Climate Change?

 Global Climate Change

Global climate change is a change in the long term weather patterns that characterize the regions of the world. The global climate is now considered to be one of the most serious challenges facing the world today. The total population around the world is involved in this complex challenge of working together to protect the ecosystems within the natural world.

An easy definition to understand what climate change is about is that the gases trap heat close to the earth that would otherwise escape out of the atmosphere, yet the greenhouse effect is intensifying this problem. Scientists have predicted that in the next 100 years, the global temperature will increase from around 2 to 6 degrees centigrade. This figure may not look devastating, but it is. Many more natural disasters will occur and potentially, the earth will no longer be a habitable condition.
